Trans Voices is committed to supporting our community through practical resources, mutual aid, and connection. We aim to provide tangible tools, funding opportunities, and care packages that help trans and nonbinary individuals navigate their journeys with dignity and ease. Some of these services are available now, while others are part of our long-term vision as we continue to grow.
Sugery Care Kits
We plan to create care packages for individuals undergoing gender-affirming surgeries. These kits will include post-op essentials like pillows, comfort garments, easy-open water bottles, wound care supplies, and small comfort items to make recovery safer and more comfortable. Kits will be tailored for top surgery, bottom surgery, and other procedures for both trans masc, trans fem, and nonbinary folks.
Binder & Garment Program
Our binder and garment program will help provide access to safe, comfortable, and size-appropriate binders, gaffs, compression garments, and other affirming wear. This program will prioritize folks who may not have the means to purchase these items themselves, with a focus on safe fitting and education.
Gender-Affirming Grants
We aim to establish a micro-grant fund to help cover costs for name/gender marker changes, surgery deposits, travel expenses for procedures, and other related needs. These grants will be awarded based on application, prioritizing those with limited access to other funding options.
